We are pleased to announce that comics superstar Jonboy Meyers is our cover artist for The Imaginary Voyages of Edgar Allan Poe issue 4! If you’ve been reading Marvel or DC Comics, you will surely recognize his name! We will reveal his stunning cover on May 1 at 10AM (EST), and we can’t wait to show you this amazing piece of art which is out-of-this-world fantastic! In other news, our next podcast for The Raven Lunatics promises to be special! Our guest will be none other than New York Times Bestselling author,  Matthew Pearl! Pearl is the author of The Poe Shadow (which we loved!) which centers around the mysterious death of the famed poet and author, Edgar Allan Poe. Chris Semtner, Matthew, and I will be discussing the various theories surrounding Poe’s death, so you will not want to miss this episode! The podcast will drop on March 14 at noon(EST)! Be sure to subscribe and leave a comment! You can do that RIGHT HERE.

This is why we do what we do here at Hocus Pocus Comics! Matthew Laskavy is part of our next generation of readers, and being able to inspire him and young readers to explore new worlds through the medium of comics is exhilarating and deeply humbling!

As you can see, there is a quite a bit going on at Hocus Pocus Comics, so keep watching! 2018 started with a bang and we don’t see us slowing down anytime soon! As always, thank you for the tweets, retweets, shares, pledges, pre-orders, and likes! You guys rock!

UNLOCKED: Stretch Goal #2!

We did it! Thanks to you, friends, we have busted right through that $3k stretch goal! I’ve been dying to share this brilliant piece with you, so here goes…

You have unlocked this magical pin-up by internationally-acclaimed children’s book artist, Aristotelis Falegos! Aris’ work caught our eye on Instagram and we just knew we had to see his take on our Little Poe and his faithful guide, Irving Rat. Isn’t it glorious?!

We still have 22 days to go, so please, if you know someone who might love our Little Poe, tell them about us and direct them to our campaign page. We would be thrilled to welcome them on our incredible journey! The more the merrier!

With much gratitude,

Dwight, Rebecca, and The Poe Family

Brand-New Terra Somnium: Counting Down to The End

Happy Poe Wednesday! We are counting down to the final page of Terra Somnium on Line Webtoon. It’s been a wonderful experience working with artists Louise Fitzpatrick and Federico Luchetti, and letterers Marco Della Verde and Pietro “Pitt” Rotelli, and I’ll be sad to see it end. But, as you know, it’s not really ending. Terra Somnium is merely a prequel to The Imaginary Voyages of Edgar Allan Poe. A prologue, if you will. The good news is that we had a fantastic time creating 2 solid chapters of Poe-related content that has been viewed by more than 8,000 people. And if it has pointed even one reader to the work of Edgar Allan Poe, it’s totally been worth it!

Simply click on the image of the mysterious cat below to read today’s installment of Terra Somnium!
