ELEVATOR Trade Paperback Now Available For Purchase!

Friends, I am thrilled to announce that my first self-published trade paperback, ELEVATOR, is now for sale on Amazon.com! This special trade collects the entire mini-series (issues 1-4) and includes a brand-new, never-before-seen epilogue that will blow your mind! It also features a foreword from my new friend, Jeff Mudgett! Jeff is the author of the critically-acclaimed Bloodstains which chronicles his personal journey after discovering the shocking secret that he is the great-great grandson of America’s first serial killer, H.H. Holmes. He is also the co-star of History Channel’s thrilling mini-series, American Ripper, in which he and co-host Amaryllis Fox, a former CIA analyst, attempt to prove Jeff’s controversial theory that his ancestor is also the mysterious killer known as Jack the Ripper. I am certain you will find what Jeff has to say about the story quite enlightening!

Please leave a review and tell your family and friends about the book after you read your copy. And tell your local comic shop and bookstore about the trade, because it can be ordered directly from Amazon.com. These are the very best ways you can support indie comics!

Brand-New Terra Somnium: Counting Down to The End

Happy Poe Wednesday! We are counting down to the final page of Terra Somnium on Line Webtoon. It’s been a wonderful experience working with artists Louise Fitzpatrick and Federico Luchetti, and letterers Marco Della Verde and Pietro “Pitt” Rotelli, and I’ll be sad to see it end. But, as you know, it’s not really ending. Terra Somnium is merely a prequel to The Imaginary Voyages of Edgar Allan Poe. A prologue, if you will. The good news is that we had a fantastic time creating 2 solid chapters of Poe-related content that has been viewed by more than 8,000 people. And if it has pointed even one reader to the work of Edgar Allan Poe, it’s totally been worth it!

Simply click on the image of the mysterious cat below to read today’s installment of Terra Somnium!

We’ve had quite a blast putting this campaign together! Getting to work with our long-time friends and fellow creatives again, The Corpse Crew, was a wonderful experience. Their interpretation of our story is the darkest thus far, but it is certainly a fitting tribute to the Master of the Macabre. They killed it! (Pun totally intended.)

To our returning supporters, thank you from the bottoms of our hearts for continuing with us on this journey! And to all who are just now joining the fellowship, welcome to the world of The Imaginary Voyages of Edgar Allan Poe– a nightmarish journey through the mind of the the world’s greatest fantasist. Buckle in. It’s going to be a wild ride!

Thank you to everyone who has already voted, and if you haven’t voted yet, it only takes a couple of seconds and you can vote anonymously, so why not do that now? Finally, Rebecca and I would like to thank each and every one of you for an amazing first year. We honestly didn’t know how a new publishing company would be received. Sure, I’m not Ricky Random, but one can never know about these things unless one first takes that big step. With such an explosion in the comics market, it was a risk. A big one. But, thanks to you, we are so glad we stepped out and took a chance. Here’s to you, and here’s to a glorious second great year for Hocus Pocus Comics that exceeds all expectations!

Warm regards,

Dwight & Rebecca
