ELEVATOR Trade Paperback Now Available For Purchase!

Friends, I am thrilled to announce that my first self-published trade paperback, ELEVATOR, is now for sale on Amazon.com! This special trade collects the entire mini-series (issues 1-4) and includes a brand-new, never-before-seen epilogue that will blow your mind! It also features a foreword from my new friend, Jeff Mudgett! Jeff is the author of the critically-acclaimed Bloodstains which chronicles his personal journey after discovering the shocking secret that he is the great-great grandson of America’s first serial killer, H.H. Holmes. He is also the co-star of History Channel’s thrilling mini-series, American Ripper, in which he and co-host Amaryllis Fox, a former CIA analyst, attempt to prove Jeff’s controversial theory that his ancestor is also the mysterious killer known as Jack the Ripper. I am certain you will find what Jeff has to say about the story quite enlightening!

Elevator 4 Drops December 6th on ComiXology!

Elevator004_comixology

Back in January of this year, when Dwight L. MacPherson and I were talking about where we wanted to go with Hocus Pocus Comics, one thing we agreed on was that we wanted to have one completed series by year’s end. We hit the ground running with our Poe books/Kickstarter campaigns, and in between we released ELEVATOR, one of our most poignant stories thus far. We were not sure if ComiXology’s schedule would allow this to happen, but we just learned that issue 4 drops next Wednesday, 12/6. A complete book by year end! We have a lot to be proud of and to be thankful for, but none of this would have happened without the incredible team of friends that has joined us on this journey as indie publishers. Randy Valiente, Petro Rotelli, and Dr. Amy H. Sturgis… you all made this happen. We love you guys. If you want to catch up on the story before issue 4 launches, click on the link to purchase issues 1-3:

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen…

The year is quickly winding down, and 2011 will soon be gone! We are moving into our busy social time, so you will probably not hear from us until well into the new year. This is usually the time when people start reflecting on their lives – where they are, where they have been, and where they want to go. For us, it has been an incredible year – full of new projects, traveling, and family bonding. You know how New Year’s Eve goes: out with the old and in with the new. We are looking forward to 2012 and all it has to bring, including several exciting new projects!

We wish you a safe, blessed, and Merry Christmas!

As our special gift to you, just click the image below and get ready for some cozy KRAMPUS Christmastime love (okay, maybe not).

Signed Books

Don’t forget: if you still want to order signed copies of Howard Lovecraft and the Frozen Kingdom, drop us an email (howardlovecraft(dot)comic(at)gmail.com). They have gone quickly, and we only have a few books left.

The Lovecraft Anthology

SelfMade Hero has announced the March release of The Lovecraft Anthology: Volume II, which features an H.P. Lovecraft adaptation by Dwight and sensational artist Paul Peart-Smith. Check out this amazing cover by our dear friend Francesco Francavilla, and click on the image to find out more about the book.
