After publishing in the mainstream comic industry for more than 10 years, Rebecca and I decided it is time to take matters into our own hands. I’ve made a lot of money for publishers, shilled for, defended, wrestled with, fought, and even threatened them and still received very little compensation for myself and my teams. It’s time to ensure that we get paid. Traditional publishers want creators to find a team who will work on a back-end deal. Why? Because they know they will find a way to keep all the profits and leave creators explaining to the team why they can’t pay them anything. I’m done with that.  I’m going to do what I have to do to ensure that I can continue to make great comics and also make a living from it. I want to continue to tell amazing stories, work with talented teams, and, at the end of the day, make sure that everyone gets paid. With HP Comics, I will finally be able to do that.

I’ve been a longtime proponent of digital comics and webcomics, and now, with the explosion of the digital comic medium, even Marvel and DC have gotten in on the act. It took them a while, but they finally caught up with me.

Hocus Pocus Comics is all about creating the future’s myths & legends today, one comic at a time! We’re an innovative publisher that believes storytelling is the key. Imaginatio est Magicae!

Hocus Pocus Comics will be launching January, 2017, and I couldn’t be more excited!
